Sorry it has been so long since I posted an update. We have been pretty busy, but in a good way. Last night was a testimony to what God has been doing here. We had our largest group ever, more than double the students than we had when we started a few months ago. In the last 4 weeks we have had 5 students accept Christ and are being baptized. I have the honor of baptizing one this Sunday and hopefully 2 next.

I don’t know about you, but that gets me excited. God has continued to show mercy to Bonnie and I as well. We have not reached our monthly support needs, but somehow He has provided so far. God is in control. Thank you to all who are praying for us and supporting us with this adventure.

We had an incredible time at the Reveal weekend. Three students gave their lives to the Lord and we had many others who were freed from things in their lives. God did more than I could have ever imagined the weekend being. Thanks for all the prayers that went out for the students and the weekend. We truly were all blessed by this event.

I also got to go to a conference at Oneighty this past weekend. What an experience. God gave me many great ideas and some incredible dreams for where student ministry should be so that we can impact this generation in a way that makes sense to them. Really good stuff. I will hopefully get some time to lay some of that down on the blog.

So it has been a week and a half since I left the corporate world and went into full time ministry. God has been faithful, we were given our first months support right of the bat. We continue to pray that God will show up in incredible ways and cover our needs. If you are praying for us, please pray for God to continue to bring in new students. We have seen 4 new families in the last week join our church who have teens. We are growing weekly and pray that God would continue the work that He has already begun. This weekend is huge for us. And we pray that we will see students dedicate their lives to Christ, become free of addictions, and allow healing to take place. Thank you for you prayers, and we love each one of you.

This weekend is our big retreat weekend called Reveal. I am so excited about this. It is all coming together now and in the past two weeks so many have joined the team to help this weekend be a success. We are putting on some pretty big production stuff and praying that God will free students from their pain and sin. Please pray for the students, leaders and myself during this weekend. I will post an update on how it went first of next week.
